Nel Del's Hearts and Minds

I’d like to invite you to join me, Nel Del, in my quest to make 2020 extra special for some of the most vulnerable patients in North Wales and really memorable for some of our wonderful nursing and support staff, who want nothing more than to make their patients’ lives brighter!

Would you like to help give all frontline NHS staff the opportunity to try out new and different ideas to start to do things differently for the benefit of patients? I certainly do! Last year and this year NHS staff across North Wales are being encouraged to apply to my Hearts and Minds grants scheme for small grants of up to £1,000. Every project that the Hearts and Minds grant scheme supports will go over and above what the NHS can provide, and it comes with the guarantee that it will bring positive change for local patients.

Last year, thanks to a generous donation from a local company Grwp Cynefin and a very kind local family, I launched my first Hearts and Minds grant scheme. 52 frontline NHS staff members applied for a grant of up to £1,000. Initially, a total of £12,530 was granted to 16 of the 52 applicants, and I’ve been raising money ever since to help fund the other important projects.

Now, I’m hearing of lots more projects which could significantly improve care and treatment which I really want to be able to help with. I was born to bring smiles and joy to patients and NHS staff here in North Wales!

Warm hearts and soothe minds. Help local patients this year. Support my Hearts and Minds Fund to help those who need your help most!

Here’s where you can help!

Support the Hearts and Minds Grant Scheme this year by making a pledge or donation below.

Why should you support my Hearts and Minds Fund?

It’s simple! You’ll be helping the people in your local community who need your help the most.

Also:

  • All donations over £200 to the Hearts and Minds Fund will receive a big thank you on my social media pages and your organisation’s name will be included on our special Hearts and Minds donations board
  • I’ll come along to see you and thank you in person – yes me, Nel Del – if you pledge a donation of over £500
  • If you donate over £200, we’ll send you an update so you know exactly what your donation or fundraising has funded!

Importantly, you’ll be able to decide whether your donation supports older people’s projects, younger people, cancer care, mental health, an international health project or another healthcare area. You’ll also get to know exactly what your donation supports: it might be new equipment, better facilities, additional education or research programmes, or complementary therapy projects.

Thank you for your kind consideration. You’re pawsome help will really help our pawly patients!
