Light Up Christmas is a real and digital lighting display, brought to you on Bangor Pier and online. This wonderful display, and its legacy, will be powered you.

Thank you to everyone who donated and made a dedication as part of "Light up Christmas".

The date for making dedications has now passed.

The lights will be lit on Bangor Pier every evening up to and including the 4th of January - see here for timings.

How your donations will make a difference for local people:

  • #TeamIrfon - Supporting extra mental health support for patients receiving care on the Alaw Unit in Ysbyty Gwynedd and families affected by cancer and bereavement. Examples may include mindfulness sessions, counselling and other specialist mental health support, complementary therapies, wigs and books.
  • COVID-19 Support Appeal in our hospitals - Supporting patient services and staff wellbeing where the need is currently greatest. Examples may include the Staff Wellbeing & Support Service, extra medical equipment and digital devices to improve patient experience in hospital, and improved facilities and provision for frontline NHS staff.
  • COVID-19 Support Appeal in our local communities: Examples may include for the talking therapy service helping people in crisis, extra medical equipment and digital devices to ensure at risk patients can be treated in their own homes rather than in hospital, and a carers support service.
  • Dementia services: Additional support and activities for people living with dementia, their families, and carers.
