Give CPR a try, don't walk on by

Keep the Beats is asking the community of North Wales to give CPR a go. We need a generation that will help each other, regardless how young or old they are.

We want our community to not walk on by, but give CPR a try.

Any CPR is better than no CPR.

Our NHS staff are willing to volunteer their time to teach CPR to the community of North Wales, but they need resources to do this. The “Give CPR a try, don’t walk on by” campaign is aimed at funding CPR demonstration mannequins not only for our staff to be able to teach CPR, but also to help every primary school in North Wales get their own pack of mannequins - enabling them to join in with Heart Start, and the Welsh Ambulance service Defibuary and Shocktober. A pack of 10 BHF mannequins costs £391 (exc VAT).

We also want to be able to offer our local communities support and advice about setting up and maintaining community public access defibrillator sites, as well as having someone available as and when our community needs us.

If you, like us, are passionate about saving lives you can help us by donating today - just text KTB to 70500 to give £5 now. You can also send a cheque made payable to Awyr Las or Blue Sky to: Awyr Las, General Office, Ysbyty Gwynedd, Penrhosgarnedd, Bangor, LL57 2PW. Make a note on the back of the cheque that it's a donation for Keep The Beats!

Every heartbeat counts 💙 Every penny counts. Thank you.

Don’t want to attend a course to learn CPR? No problem!

Prepare yourself for the day that your CPR skills will be needed to save a loved one’s life without even having to leave the sofa!
